“I have performed research in many areas of neuroplasticity, including Minds-In-Motion. My research in Minds-In-Motion was performed at preschool, elementary and middle school levels at different institutions in KY and IN. The effects on Minds-In-Motion truly surpassed my expectations. I am an advocate of free play outdoors and I was surprised to find out that in our first study with preschoolers all the kids in Minds-In-Motion showed improvements in their fine and gross motor skills significantly higher than the kids in the “free play” group. Unexpectedly, teachers reported better behavior and all the kids in Minds-In-Motion were sleeping during nap time!

Finally, we incorporated Minds-In-Motion in a middle school in a group in reading remediation. Half of the students were in Minds-In-Motion and the other in the control group. Students in Minds-In-Motion scores in reading, balance and motor proficiency were statistically significantly higher than the control groups.

I love Minds-In-Motion and I think that every school should incorporate it!”
