Narrative

Alec came to us acting “bored”, frustrated and unfocused but reading above grade level at 10.3. He had limited social skills, and had a hard time getting along with his peers and parents.
After Minds-in-Motion, Alec showed strong growth in leadership. Behavioral and sensory issues greatly improved according to parents. Core strength measurably improved; vestibular functioning improved. Overall visual skills greatly improved over 20% to 74%! His “focusing” (Focus Flexibility test) abilities went from 3% to 87% (the largest gain we have seen thus far!) as tested by the VERA computerized vision test.
Conclusion

Because of MiM’s sensory/motor activation, Alec became more coordinated, especially increasing his upper body strength. As his visual processing increased dramatically, Alec’s frustrations decreased, resulting in a more integrated, joyful person. He truly became “focused”! Mother said, “Alec can now really pay attention after Minds-in-Motion. We are thrilled with the changes we have witnessed in 10 weeks!”
